The wife came home early and found her husband in their bedroom making love to a very attractive young woman.

And she was upset. ‘You are a disrespectful pig!’ she cried. ‘How dare you do this to me — a faithful wife, the mother of your children! I’m leaving you. I want a divorce right away!’ And the husband replied, ‘Hang on just a minute love, so at least I can tell you… what happened.’

‘Go ahead,’ she sobbed,’ but they’ll be the last words you’ll say to me!’

And the husband began — ‘Well, I was getting into the car to drive home, and this young lady here asked me for a lift. She looked so down and out and defenseless that I took pity on her and let her into the car.

I noticed that she was very thin, not well dressed and very dirty. She told me that she hadn’t eaten for three days…

So, in my compassion, I brought her home and warmed up the enchiladas I made for you last night, the ones you wouldn’t eat because you’re afraid you’ll put on weight. The poor thing devoured them in moments.

Since she needed a good clean-up, I suggested a shower, and while she was doing that, I noticed her clothes were dirty and full of holes, so I threw them away……..

Then, as she needed clothes, I gave her the designer jeans that you have had for a few years, but don’t wear because you say they are too tight…………

I also gave her the underwear that was your anniversary present, which you don’t wear because I don’t have good taste….. I found the sexy blouse my sister gave you for Christmas that you don’t wear just to annoy her, and I also donated those boots you bought at the expensive boutique and don’t wear because someone at work has a pair the same.

The husband took a quick breath and continued – ‘She was so grateful for my understanding and help that as I walked her to the door, she turned to me with tears in her eyes and said…

Please …. Do you have anything else that your wife doesn’t use???

For next month, I am not sure what I am going to do. Probably I will shave my head bald just for the cause! Hehehe… Kidding aside, I have been contemplating of shaving me head bald for a fund raising cause. So what do you think? Should I shave my head??

It’s been a long time since I joined MOM-me Time. If you check out the post prior to this, the last time I joined was July 4 and it was more than a month!!

Anyway, I am happy to get back. I may not be religious but joining this meme from time to time is bliss for me.

So, what me time did I do today? Well, for starters, I was able to go out today and attended an event with fellow members of CDO Bloggers and CDO Mommy Bloggers Club. We attended an event that talked about Philippine franchising and the opportunity is holds for Filipinos. The event gave me the opportunity to socialize and meet new people. Aside from that, I learned something worthwhile!

After the event, I went to OMF bookstore. I bought several books for me and my kids. If you know me, I guess you already know that aside from stuffed toys, I collect books too.

Anyway, since I was the one who bought this domain and also gave its new name, I believe no other person can really love this blog as much as I do. So from now on, expect updates from me and me alone!!!

For my entry… I am going to share my unique “ME” time. Well, it is not really unique in some degree but this is not the usual “ME” time you would expect from a mom. Why? Read on…

Last week, GoDaddy shared the latest $1.00 domain promo which was JULLIAN1. So my “ME” time was spending time looking for a perfect domain! Nyahaha.. and that is where I got the COM extension of this blog. Aside from that, I also got www.thepurpleciouslife.com. Wondering why I got two? Because I used my hubby’s Godaddy account to buy the second one.

Then a few days later, GoDaddy shared again PATRIOT1 where I only got www.cdomom.comand it doesn’t allow me to buy another one. Bummer!

Anyway, that is my “ME” time. I always put one hundred pesos at my EON and SmartMoney cards just in case an opportunity like this knocks on my door. I wouldn’t want to spend my time thinking of how I wanted something so little and can’t have it. A 60 pesos domain as an addiction is better than drinking and spending time outside the house right? LOL!!!

Now, I know you have a question, what do I usually make with my domains? Well, for starters, I make them into a blog, get links, raise PR and then probably monetize or sometimes I sell them and give them away or just keep them… like my vanity blogs. I buy them personalized blog makeovers, blog on them and leave them be. Nyahahaha…
